Don chéad uair riamh is i gCeatharlach i gCúige Laighean a bheidh an Fhéile Idirnáisúinta Pan Cheilteach ar siúl i Mí Aibreáin na bliana 2012. Tá muintir Cheatharlach ag súil go mór le fáilte a chur roimh ár gcairde Ceilteacha go dtí an baile álainn stairiúil seo ar bhruach na habhann. Tá súil againn go mbeidh am iontach ag gach éinne agus sibh in ár measc agus go mbainfidh sibh sult, spraoi agus taitneamh as na himeachtaí a bheidh eagraithe againn daoibh. Beidh togha bia, ceoil, amhránaíochta agus damhsa i gCeatharlach i rith na féile.

Welcome to the International Pan Celtic Festival 2012
The International Pan Celtic Festival will be hosted by Carlow Town in April 2012. It is a great honour for the people of Carlow to host this prestigious event for the very first time. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the celtic cultures of Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, Brittany and the Isle of Man. 20 Songs shortlisted for the Pan Celtic National Song Contest
20 songs have been shortlisted to take part in the national song contest to find the Irish entry to compete in the Pan Celtic International Song Contest 2012. Included in the shortlist are songs by composers from several counties including Dublin, Cork, Carlow, Leitrim and Galway. All 20 songs will go head to head in front of a panel of judges to find the winner at the national final which will be held in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow on Thursday, 8 March. Television personality Daithí Ó Sé will compere the evening while Ollie Hennessy will be musical director. Main sponsor of the competition is IMRO in association with Gael Linn.
Tickets for the event cost €10 and may be reserved by contacting the Seven Oaks Hotel on 059 9131308.The winning song will receive a cash prize of €1,000 and go forward to represent Ireland at the Pan Celtic International Festival 2012 which will take place in Carlow from 10th – 15th April.

Tá 20 amhrán roghnaithe ar ghearrliosta do chomórtas náisiúnta na Féile Pan Cheilteach a reachtálfar in Óstán an Seven Oaks, Ceatharlach ar an Déardaoin, 8 Márta ag 8.00i.n.
Cuirfidh an pearsa teilifíse Daithí Ó Sé na hamhráin i láthair agus beidh Ollie Hennessy ina stiúrthóir ceoil. Beidh moltóirí aitheanta i láthair agus measfar na hamhráin ar fheabhas na bhfocal, an cheoil agus an cur i láthair. Cuirfear fáilte roimh an pobal agus an cead isteach ná €10. Is féidir ticéid a chur in áirithe ag Ostán an Seven Oaks ach glaoch ar 059 9131308. Tá IMRO ag deanamh urraíochta ar an gcomórtas náisiúnta i gcomhar le Gael Linn
